Farm: Goldfield, IA

Bio: Mitchell has been farming with his dad since 5th grade and provides meat to Niman Ranch. He truly loves old barns and believes they are works of art. The most important thing that he has learned from his father over the years is the value of hard work and says his dad is the hardest worker he knows. Being able to farm the same land his father and grandfather used is a dream come true for Mitchell. There is an important link for Mitchell between farming and family and it's something that means a great deal to him. "Farming isn't really a job, it's a way of life". When Mitchell isn't farming he attends school at Iowa State University.
